Today I learnt

• About the history of the internet and the it was available in 1969
• Anyone can control the internet.
• The world wide web is a collection of electronic documents containing text graphic sounds etc.
• Web browsers are programs that allow us to view web pages
• Downloading is a process where the computer receives information
• URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator which is a UNIQUE address for a web page
• A multimedia is a text that includes sounds, videos, animation, audio etc
• A thumbnail is small version of a larger graphic and it improves display time especially for phones
• An animation is a sequence of multiple still images
• Plugins are programs that extend the capabilities of a browsers example quicktime
